I've worked with students of all ages including adults, however most of my work has been with 7th and 8th graders. Because of this, I am familiar with the subject matter specific to middle school. I'm also familiar with the struggles unique to middle schoolers.

I'm open to working with other ages. When it comes to filling in foundation or helping providing tools to help with mindset, these are universal skills that can apply to anyone. Feel free to contact me to discuss some options.

If your child is making B's they probably have a good foundation. Private tutoring may be just what they need to bring them up to that A that they want.

Yes. Our private tutoring gives your child 24/7 access to DIJO Math. They can contact us at any time. Office Hours are M-Th between 6-8 pacific time and Sunday 1-3 Pacific time. During these times, I will respond to all questions. Depending on the question, I will reply with text, audio, or video. Occasionaly it may be necessary to jump on a quick zoom call as needed.

I get it! These programs are designed with both you and your child's time in mind. As a parent your main priority is to encourage. You will receive emails containing .PDF files that your child will need for our zoom calls. Other than that, you can decide with your child how involved you want to be but you can leave the heavy lifting to DIJO Math.

This program is targeted so that only the most essential items are covered. This means that no extra time is spent doing things that your child already knows. They can spend as little as 5-10 minutes a day to begin seeing results. In fact, we want your child to start out with very doable goals and build from there. Building their confidence is key to their success. Once your child begins to fill in the missing pieces, they will begin to actually SAVE time. They will spend less time on homework and less time in tutorials for starters.

After you sign up for Foundation and Mindset Training, you will receive an email from us. Inside the email you will find a link to a quick google form to fill out that will ask you questions about your child's history with math. This information will help us to understand your child a little better and help us to pinpoint where they are struggling.

In addition, the email will contain the link to the zoom call and what your child needs to bring (paper and pencils). Each week there will be .PDF files that you can print out for our calls together.

Zoom calls are recorded and will be available to watch soon after each call. You will receive an email with a link to the recorded call.
