This is tutoring on FIRE! 'Normal' tutoring is typically one day a week for 30 minutes to an hour. Maybe they have homework and maybe they don't and sometimes when they really need help, it doesn't quite match up with the scheduled time. This can be ineffient at a minimum.

Why is FOUNDATION so important?
Foundation elements are those things that your child will see day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year - you get the picture. Each and every grade level leads to the next step. The foundation is being built every year. But your child most likely has not mastered their multiplication facts that were introduced in the 3rd grade. Since multiplication is in every single problem, you can see how this has created a huge divide in their abilities in math.
The problem is that they don't realize that this is their #1 problem.
Your child knows so much more than they realize. They are still doing the work but it's difficult because of the lack of a solid foundation.
Nearly all of the 350+ students that I've worked with had not mastered their multiplication facts. This one thing caused them to spend huge amounts of time working out 6•7 or 7•8, etc - over and over again.
